Maisie continues to sleep well but this is leading to a wee problem; Maisie seems to have lost her appetite.
Maisie is sleeping and the hope is that this leads to good growth. This will not happen if she isn't eating so much. Over the last few days Maisie is only just managing to eat her daily requirement which is not too good.
Daddy is waking Maisie to feed her which doesn't really please her very much, and she's not much happier when Mummy wakes her for a breast feed. While Maisie is awake we try to feed her smaller amounts more often.
It could be that Maisie doesn't have the same energy requirement now that there isn't a problem with her hernia. We'll have to wait and see what the dietitian has to say on Monday.
