next stage

Maisie moved along to the next stage of her development today. Maisie is good at holding her toys and feeling the different textures and today she started to shake them to hear them rattle. It was wonderful playtime today.

Mummy, this is making noises.

The wee toy that she is playing with is very small which you probably can't tell from the picture. It's the smallest toy that Maisie has. She loves this wee mouse.

It came in the pocket of a big sheep that Maisie got from Wayne, Caroline and Jenny. The sheep is quite a bit bigger than Maisie at the moment but we're sure she'll enjoy playing with it as much as she does the mouse. Thank you.

Maisie was still under the weather but was only sick once. The course of antibiotics finished tomorrow so hopefully we'll see a change in her.

  1. What a brilliant picture, obviously watching the TV and ignoring all the developmental textures and rattles, sensible child. Milkshake (Channel 5) in the mornings and CBeebies at night, that's our rule. But we can't see her hair colour - what's the story there?
