more improvement

As the consultants hoped by lowering the pressure of Maisie's oxygen supply she has been learning to breath by herself . Maisie is progressing well and is now on the Low-flow which delivers oxygen but at a greatly reduced pressure. The idea is to keep reducing the pressure to help her breath on her own.

Going on the low-flow did distress Maisie a little but she soon settled down after lots of cuddles from Mummy and Daddy.

Maisie' is managing well since going onto the Low-flow and her oxygen saturation has been improving staying mainly in the low 90%'s - a good change for Maisie.

Do you think Maisie's clothes are just a wee bit to big?

  1. Good morning Maisie. So pleased to read of your good progress this week, you are such a clever girl. I'm loving seeing all your fashion pics too - tell Daddy it won't be long till you are fitting (and wriggling out of) all those lovely outfits! Keep strong little one and give some hugs to Mummy and Daddy from Alison & Matthew xx

  2. Another good day and more good news, wonderful. Although the very pretty suit is a tad big at the moment at this rate Maisie will soon fill it. Well done Maisie, Win x
